FSE 2.0: new privacy obligations for private facilities

From March 31, 2026, the population of the Fascicolo Sanitario Elettronico 2.0 has also been extended to private outpatient clinics not accredited. This entails new obligations regarding clinical documents, interoperability, privacy responsibilities, the right to conceal data, and internal tracking procedures. The article emphasizes that the role of the data controller, IT, and the DPO becomes central to avoiding errors in the management of health data.
